Debating responsible innovation in finance: 30 November 2011

The conference “Debating Responsible Innovation in Finance” to be held on 30 November 2011 in Paris at Mines ParisTech is the first public event organized by the Observatory for Responsible Innovation.  Actors from the financial services industry, regulators, politicians, researchers from a variety of backgrounds and media professionals will participate in a set of discussions on a number of pressing issues, ranging from the potential perils of new, complex financial products to the consequences of high-frequency trading, from the role of incentives in the financial services industry to the question of the democratic assessment of financial problems and solutions. The conference is open to all, but available seats are limited and registration is required.
