Thesis title: The forms of valuation of research

Publications and licenses are the two canonical forms of valorisation of research results. This valorisation spread first and foremost in academic-industry relations (collaborations with companies, start-ups creation…). But its diversification into other forms (conferences, online research diaries, exhibits, collaboration with non-profit associations…), in other media (especially digital ones, in the open-access context), and to other audiences is now a complex issue for all research stakeholders, from the Ministry of Higher Education and Research to the researchers, through research performing organizations and funding agencies. The thesis aims at assessing the present state of this reconfiguration of the practices and models in their diversity or even their contradictions.
